Infinity: Iain McKell

An exhibition of photographs by Iain McKell has been installed along the mile long walk out into the heart of the Thames Estuary along Southend Pier (the world's longest). The exhibition accompanied the Sound of the Thames Delta weekend of discussion with musicians, artists and writers over the weekend of 1 and 2 October, and has now been extended until early 2017. Infinity spans four decades of extraordinary photographs, from the music and street culture of Southend in the late 70's / early 80's of 2Tone, Mods, Skins and Punks; the New Romantic Blitz Kids (then and now); and Rockabillies.

Pier Opening Times: Winter Season (31st October to March 2017) 09:15 to 17:00 Wednesday to Sunday / Regardless of the season the Pier will be open on all school and public holidays. With the exception of Christmas Day, when the Pier is closed. Entry £2
