Access

Our aim is to ensure Estuary 2021 is accessible for all

Get involved

The power of the arts to connect with people is universal. We believe that the arts in all its forms should be made available to and enjoyed by everyone.

As a festival team we are working hard to ensure that people of all ages and from all walks of life are able to access our programme as easily as possible. We are paying close attention to each artwork and event to ensure we are doing all we can to facilitate this.

Estuary 2021 will be presented across multiple places and often within the landscape of the Thames Estuary itself. As programme is announced and listed here on our website, each event will have an Access heading that will detail considerations and any assistance measures we have been able to put in place, as follows:-

  • BSL interpreted
  • Captioned performance
  • Audio described performance
  • Large print version
  • Digital access available
  • Assisted route
  • Wheelchair accessible

If you often find websites hard to read and navigate you may also want to take a look at My Computer My Way, a resource developed by AbilityNet with support from Microsoft and the BBC as a source of accessibility help for all computer users.

We will update this page as the festival programme evolves to provide further information and handy links to Access resources.
