Anja Kirschner

Anja Kirschner is an artist living and working in Berlin and London. In her films and video installations she attends to the phantasmatic and material anatomies of media practices and their role in the production of knowledges and bodies.

She was the winner of the Jarman Award (2011) and has exhibited widely internationally. Selected screenings include Berlinale and BFI London Film Festival, Videoart at Midnight and the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.

Currently she is a PhD candidate at the Royal College of Art, London, working on immersion from queer feminist and decolonial perspectives.
