Osman Yousefzada

Osman Yousefzada is a British born multi-disciplinary artist.

His practice revolves around modes of story telling, merging the autobiographical with the fictional and “ritual.” Osman’s work is concerned with the representation and rupture of the migrational experience and makes reference to socio-political issues of today.

Yousefzada explores these themes through moving image and text works - sculpture and installation - garment making and aspects of performance.

His work has been shown from solo to group exhibitions at the Ikon Gallery, Whitechapel Gallery, Lahore Biennale, Mendes Wood Brussels, Lahore Museum, V&A, Design Museum, Wapping Project, Central State Museum Almaty, Georgian National Museum Tbilisi, Cincinnati Art Museum Ohio, Ringling Museum Florida & currently installing an Infinity Pattern Installation over Selfridges Birmingham UK - Bullring.
