The Thames Sailing Barge Trust is a registered charity which owns and operates two historic Thames sailing barges from its base at Maldon. The organisation was set up as a club in 1948 and in 2008 became a registered charity. The sailing barges Centaur (built 1895 and Pudge (built 1922) are both on the Historic Ships register. Centaur and Pudge are also Dunkirk Little Ships.
