Street Names - Ebb & Flow Festival

This commission explores the origins of the street names along the Chatham Intra, from the bottom of Star Hill to Sun Pier, through a series of black and white photographs.

About the artist

Laura Fisher is a Medway based photographer who mainly photographs in black and white, favouring the timeless quality it gives and the way it adds texture and tone to the subject. Her working practice focuses on documentary photography, the ‘everyday', collecting and typology. Compositionally she is drawn to shape, form, patterns and design. Repetition and order are elements she strongly identifies with.
