It reflects Estuary Festival’s ongoing commitment to commissioning ambitious contemporary art, fostering meaningful community collaboration, and responding to the dynamics of the region.

Reflecting on Estuary 2025
Taking place across multiple locations along the Thames Estuary, Estuary 2025 brought together artists, audiences and partners to explore the estuarine landscape through a diverse programme of commissions, performances, and events.

Key highlights include:
•    Reaching 924,000 people engaging with artworks and activities across the region
•    Deep collaboration with local communities, placing residents at the heart of the creative process
•    Significant support for artists, enabling new ideas, research, and large-scale productions

The report also emphasises the Festival’s role as a connector, linking coastal and urban locations, creative disciplines, and communities through shared experiences rooted in place.
