Estuary Anthology expression of interest

The Estuary Anthology programme is designed to shine a spotlight on independently produced arts projects around the Thames Estuary to create an anthology of creative action during Estuary 2025 (21-29 June 2025).

We are delighted to share the ‘Expression of Interest’, an open invitation for creative activities to be included in the Estuary Anthology that are connected with Estuary themes, within the region, and coinciding with the festival dates.

If you are a creative and have a project in development, we would love to hear from you.

The Estuary Anthology is open to activities across the Thames Estuary geography.

We are delighted to have received a Community Grant via Castle Point’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund to support the development of projects within the Castle Point area. We will be offering seminars, workshops and 1:1 surgeries to creatives based in Castle Point or those interested in producing activities within the borough. The content of this support programme will be shaped by your suggestions and needs – just tell us when you complete the Expression of Interest.

The Estuary Anthology aims to celebrate the diverse creative talents across the Thames Estuary and builds on the previous edition’s ‘Associated Programme’ which for Estuary 2021 assisted 86 additional local projects, produced by Metal with Cement Fields.

“I have felt so welcomed into the local artist community, it really feels like everyone is rooting for one another, and organisations are all working together to benefit the area.”  Artist involved in Estuary 2021 produced by Metal with Cement Fields
