About the artist
Jane Pitt is an artist based in North Kent. She makes installations that include sound, sensory experience, performance and text; often sited in unusual public spaces, on land, water and in moving vehicles. Her work evokes a heightened awareness of environment and encourages a curiosity in the complexity of places through sound, landscape and language.
She works from The Tack Room, an artist run studio space in Hulkes Lane, by the River Medway in Chatham Intra - the riverside area that links Chatham to Rochester.
