Our Land is a creative intervention in the form of walking, listening and gardening. Part protest, part possession, part planting.
Whose land is this? Our Land explores ideas of belonging, ownership and a collective action, seeking to reclaim and make space. What happens when people whose histories, identities and experiences have not yet been etched request a place on your land.
Our Land invites people to claim space on behalf of people they haven’t met. On the day you will be given an invitation to think about you and the ground you walk upon, where do you feel at home, can land belong to anybody, can anybody belong to a land?
At the end of the walk, you can decide to allow them to put down roots or not.
