Zoë Howe

Zoë Howe is a Southend-based music writer, musician and artist. Her books include Lee Brilleaux: Rock ’n’ Roll Gentleman, Barbed Wire Kisses - The Jesus and Mary Chain Story, Wilko Johnson - Looking Back At Me, Stevie Nicks - Visions, Dreams and Rumours andTypical Girls? The Story Of The Slits (2009). Her debut novel, Shine On, Marquee Moon (Matador, September 2016) was shortlisted for the Virginia Prize For Fiction 2016. She is also The Blues Magazine's rock 'n' roll agony aunt. When not writing, Zoë can be found dawdling about on the beach.
