Dominic Snow

Dominic Snow

Part of Explore Thamesmead, taking place on Sat 29 and Sun 30 May.

Dominic Snow, AKA Elephantman, is a sculptor and painter living and working in London, whose work explores the nature of what constitutes a ‘person’. He studied briefly in Leicester but has been mostly self taught. In 2015 as Elephantman, Dominic launched a guerrilla street art campaign aimed at opening the discussion on the rights of animals to be considered non-human persons. This takes the form of sculptures, plaques, posters and murals, bolted fixed or glued in opportune sites, primarily in London but in other cities and countries too. He is a member of the Urban Art Association.

For Estuary 2021 he is creating new installations to discover whilst walking by the Thames.
