Andy Merritt

Andy Merritt

Andy Merritt is one half of the duo Something & Son. They explore the social and environmental issues that define our time via everyday scenarios, criss-crossing the boundaries between the visual arts, architecture and design. Their projects build new heterotopias for people and/or other species to use through permanent architectural installations/spaces and functional sculptures. Andy is currently developing a long-term project with multiple iterations, researching how humancentric objects and systems can be reappropriated to build, rather than destroy, ecosystems.
