Esi Eshun

Esi Eshun is a London based multidisciplinary artist and independent researcher. She works primarily with text, sound and performance to investigate some of the socio-economic, psychological and philosophical contradictions of colonialism, and its continuing geopolitical and ecological significances.

Recent projects include: How We Behave - Propositions #12 Waves Breaking Walls - Audio performance with Grant Watson, BAK Utrecht, 2020. Voice performance on Sum Tyms Bytin Sum Tyms Bit, Feral Practice, 2020. Dysphorias - Live art curatorial project, Five Years, London (postponed due to coronavirus), 2020. The Beast - Audio installation, Dhaka Film Festival, Bangladesh, 2020. INFINITY minus Infinity (film) Writing, performance, research and development collaboration with The Otolith Group. Screened Berlin Film Festival; live streamed, Paul Mellon Centre; Lux Moving Image 2020; commissioned by Sharjah Architecture Triennal 2019.
