They say "If you can remember the 60's, you weren't there" but I was there and I remember them quite well. I remember walking up and down the High Street, as that was all you could do then, going to coffee bars and playing the juke box. I remember constantly being berated by the Principle for bunking off school as I was at home making Paisley shirts and kipper ties to sell. Coming from a Convent school and strict Italian family, the 60's were like a huge exciting beginning: the music, the culture, the fashion.
